Our mission is to help people facing a life-altering progressive lung condition to live their best possible lives after diagnosis.

We are Patients Helping Patients

Our motto says it all: Patients Helping Patients. Because we are patients, PF Warriors believe in the power of peer support. Our members know what it’s like to wake up every day with lung disease and struggle to live with your new normal life. We are here to answer questions. We share our experience. We keep up with advances in disease management. Most importantly, we support each other through the ups and downs of living with fibrotic lung disease.

We Provide Education

We invite top healthcare professionals to address the treatment of pulmonary diseases during our monthly meetings. Warriors appreciate straight talk and candid answers from pulmonary researchers and medical experts. Our educational meetings cover topics such as boosting the immune system, current clinical research trials, lung transplants, and pulmonary rehabilitation. We regularly share news and links to reliable resources on the PF Warriors’ public and private Facebook groups.

We Share Resources and Tools

The Internet is filled with facts and opinions but how reliable and useful are they? We share only the most reliable links and news items. Our members have access to online rehab programs, guides written or selected by our members, and a private Facebook group for support.

We Believe we can Live our Best Lives

Thankfully, there are things patients can do to improve their quality of life while living with a rare lung disease. Meeting and hearing good news from research experts is truly inspiring. But, our members benefit most from hearing one another’s experiences. Our members help one another cope with the changes to daily life that are often required by lung disease.
