Our Executive Team

Dolly Kervitsky, President of PF Warriors, began her career working in critical care as a respiratory therapist. She went on to help develop the ILD Clinical and Research Program at National Jewish Health where she developed relationships with physicians and researchers from around the world. She also worked closely with pharmaceutical companies and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the development of clinical trials. Dolly also served as the VP of Patient Relations and Medical Affairs for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF). From there, she moved on to serving as a Medical Science Liaison for a variety of pharmaceutical organizations. A member of PF Warriors for several years, she will manage the day to day operations of the PF Warriors.

Teresa Barnes, Chief Executive Warrior, first became involved with the PF community after losing five family members to IPF. She began her career in journalism and has used those skills as she has navigated the worldwide PF community, seeking out-of-the-box solutions for treating PF. Teresa was a founder of the first IPF patient organization, the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis back in 2001. She has served on multiple boards, including ATS, where she spearheaded multiple advocacy efforts. A member of PF Warriors for five years, Teresa will help us to open doors around the world.

Bill Vick, Founder Emeritus, continues to focus on providing inspiration, hope, and support to members. We honor Bill for showing us the way forward through his words and actions. His positive attitude and constant commitment to patients and their families continue to guide the way for the PF Warriors leadership team. See more about our founder.
